Spiced Rum Hot Chocolate

Warm Malabar spices infused in a rich hot chocolate spiked with a little bit of dark rum. Velvety smooth and layered with nutmeg cinnamon and cloves. The delicious flavours are enhanced by the spices in the rum to create a drink of magic. 

 

Ingredients: 1 Serving

  1. Artisante Spiced Hot Chocolate (20 Grams) (infused with nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves)
  • Milk or your favourite dairy alternative (200 ML)
  • Dark Rum (15 ML)
  • Optional Garnish toppings: Whipped cream, marshmallows, a cinnamon stick or a dehydrated orange slice 

 

 Method:

  1. Gently Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. Stir in the spiced hot chocolate and dark rum. Mix till smooth
  3. Take it off the heat and pour into a mug
  4. (Optional) Layer with whipped cream, marshmallows, cinnamon stick or the dehydrated orange slice as you desire.
